Nic's Update......

i agree that the buger blog seems like a good place to keep tabs on everyone, my twitter account has grown a bit out of control with twitterers who post like 50 times a day so I never see anyone I actully know's updates.

Allison and I got a place, but do not move in until the 9th of August. I will send the address out when we actually move in. It's in a great spot in NE close into downtown and has an architect history, plus a man room for me that is actually an enclosed porch(which means hot in the summer and cold in the winter, so Allison is basically letting it be my room). Anyway, still working on a basement remodel, and doing some contract drafting/design work to keep myself busy. Its nice to have the income but I'm not getting any of the projects that I had thought I would done. Still talking to a few offices here that are interested in having me come aboard but no one has the work to justify it right now. Seems like the fall is looking better for a couple of them, so we will see how that all works out, but right now I ready to go it on my own for a while.

Allison left for Italy for the week this morning and when she gets back we go down to California for my sisters wedding for a week. Going to see Sonic Youth next week. This weekend is the International Beer Fest so that is very exciting.

Anyway that's what's going on here. I've been thinking that it would be a great time to do a spec project in Portland if anyone is interested in throwing some money west, just throwing it out there.

The Burger Blog Remodel

So, since we're not all together eating burgers every Thursday anymore, seems like this should be a good place to keep tabs on what everyone is up to lately. The "twitter-age" has gone a little quiet lately. I'm guilty. But at least I actually tweet every so often...unlike some people who don't (or won't) have an account. Not gonna name names. Kathy.

My quick update: work-wise I'm helping out Randell at Westbank Construction, working on getting Wyoming Building Systems going (I know, I need to actually do a real website, hopefully soon), still have clients with Dunlop Development, and was recently asked to chair the membership & communications committee for USGBC Wyoming (yes, I'm @usgbcwyoming). Wanting to get my LEED shirt with the categories and credits written upside-down on the market...some reason haven't found the free time to do so yet. That, and I'm a little scared of USGBC suing me. Yeah...I'm chicken. So.
